The Wanda Sanders Memorial Scholarship
Established in memory of Dr. Wanda Bryant Sanders, DNP, ADGNP-BC, this scholarship honors a beloved nurse practitioner, educator, and community advocate from Goldsboro, NC. A proud graduate of Barton College and East Carolina University, Dr. Sanders devoted her life to advancing healthcare and serving others with compassion. Her journey from emergency department secretary to Doctor of Nursing Practice inspired countless students and colleagues. This scholarship continues her legacy by supporting current nurses and healthcare workers who share her passion for equity, education, and community care.
