OUR MISSION
The Wayne Memorial Hospital Foundation’s mission is to raise funds and awareness for projects and services that provide quality health care close to home at Wayne UNC Health Care for residents of Wayne County and surrounding areas.
Funds raised by the Foundation will be used to:

Provide scholarships to attract and retain skilled nurses

Fund medical technology and equipment

Support facility upgrades to keep patients safe and deliver better care

Promote wellness programs to improve health in the community
The Foundation is a separate not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization established to support Wayne UNC Health Care. It will achieve this goal through advocacy, education, philanthropy, relationships and stewardship. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.
Your gift makes a difference in more lives than one—charitable giving through the Wayne Memorial Hospital Foundation benefits the patients in need of expert care, and funds facility improvements, equipment, research, and continuing education for our medical providers.
Scholarships
Nurses and medical technicians who wish to continue their education can apply for scholarships through the Wayne Memorial Hospital Foundation to help them reach their goals.
Medical Technology
The WMH Foundation is committed to helping Wayne UNC Health Care provide medical technology and equipment.
Facility Upgrades
You or your organization have the opportunity to support the ongoing need to improve our facilities to keep patients safe and deliver better care.
